Introduction

My name is Travis Hall and I am one of the creators of LuxuryOregon.com. I originally thought of the idea for the website while I was working as a Real Estate Broker in Eugene, Oregon. When I first started to work in the field, I noticed that a lot of the real estate brokers had websites that weren't very user friendly and didn't really give visitors an all encompassing view of the area that they wanted to move to. This included businesses in the area, schools, recreation, vacation spots, neighborhood information, etc. I wanted to create a website that had all of those aspects, and more information about the state that I have lived in for so long. This was the beginning of a 3 year long project to create LuxuryOregon.com.

I had the experience in real estate but I didn't have the skills needed to do the back end data work that was needed to create the website. Luckily I met someone about a year and a half ago at the Multnomah Athletic Club. We started talking about what we did for a living and I introduced him to the idea of the website. Soon after we were discussing the idea in weekly meetings and decided to move forward with LuxuryOregon.com.

Eventually we formed an L.L.C. by the name of Westwood Equity Group. We are constantly learning new things about Oregon, which helps to make the website more useful to visitors. I'm very excited to go live with all of our new updates that we have been working on. Thank you to all the people who have helped support this new venture and to all the people in the future!
